Evaluation Services for Schools & Districts

Dr. Comartin is available to help schools & districts with psychoeducational evaluations of students, including initial and triennial evaluations, as well as leadership in IEP meetings. Dr. Comartin has experience conducting evaluations and making recommendations at the preschool, elementary, middle, high school, and post-secondary levels. If needed, Dr. Comartin can facilitate IEP meetings and solve problems before they escalate to a higher level. Dr. Comartin is also available to provide Independent Educational Evaluations (IEEs).

In his previous experience as a school psychologist, program specialist, and special education administrator, Dr. Comartin has a proven track record in the following areas:

  • Best practices in psychoeducational assessment, including complicated referral concerns and litigious cases involving complex learning profiles, extreme behaviors, and a variety of psychiatric and mental health needs.

  • Comprehensive evaluations, including full academic assessments, in addition to cognitive, processing, and social-emotional evaluations.

  • Exemplary IEP presentation skills, expertise in dispute resolution, and legally defensible, high quality written reports.

  • Experience evaluating students placed in out-of-state residential treatment programs (i.e. Utah, New York).
